Parking

Adelaide Airport has two conveniently located car parks for short term and long term stays.

Disabled car parking bays are located immediately adjacent to the lifts in the new multi-level car park. Blue parking guidance lights signify the location of parking spaces. Disabled bays are also available adjacent the entry/exit area of the long term car park.

Security

Security is a top priority at Adelaide Airport. On-site security measures are regularly monitored and the airport continues to meet stringent security standards set by the Australian Government.

Adelaide Airport is constantly patrolled by both airport staff and Australian Federal Police. This includes specialist mobile, foot and bike patrols along with technical support from bomb appraisal teams and explosive detection dogs, all of which provide an intelligence driven, proactive and flexible security presence. Adelaide Airport has an extensive access control system with a large network of closed circuit TV cameras which operate 24 hours a day.

Check-in

Due to security measures, passengers are advised to allow ample time to process through immigration and security screening points into the Departures area. Adelaide Airport Ltd recommends all passengers arrive early for check-in. Passengers are encouraged to check with their airline or travel agent regarding any questions they may have relating to check-in procedures, timing, security measures or special needs with travel arrangements.
