These include self-drive, hire cars, taxis and limousines.

We are building a new $100 million multi-level car park at Adelaide Airport to make parking easier in the future. Over the next 12 months, construction activity will impact on traffic movements adjacent Terminal 1 and current parking arrangements will change. If you are driving to the airport for travel, meeting visitors or just visiting, you can expect delays – so
PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME.
UPDATE – June 2011:
Approximately 120 parking bays are being fenced off on the north west edge of the short term car park. If the short term car park is full, motorists will be directed to Adelaide Airport’s overflow car park. The overflow car park is in the same location as the former domestic terminal car park, and is a 5-10 minute walk to T1. No disability permit parking will be impacted by these changes. Pick up and drop off points for private vehicles, taxis and buses outside T1 will remain the same at this time. Long term parking will not be impacted by these changes at this time. The car park shuttle bus will continue to operate as normal. We will continue to monitor the changes during the construction period to minimise the impact on customers. We appreciate your patience.

A conveniently located public car park services T1 (Terminal 1) and is located immediately outside the main building.
Payment is by ticket validation before you return to your car, and pay stations are conveniently located inside and outside the terminal as well as in the Short Term car park. Payment can be made by cash or credit card (EFTPOS is not available). Several ATMs are conveniently located inside the terminal for EFTPOS cash-outs. Refer to the T1 floor plan.
Our fee structure (see above) is competitively geared to city rates. See grounds map for car park location.
All prices include GST. Terms and conditions are on display at car park entrance.
Lost tickets will incur a minimum fee of $30 and be charged at a rate of $30 per day.
Construction of our new "multi level" short term car park has commenced. During the construction phase visitors may experience minor disruptions to traffic and parking facilities. We apologise for this inconvenience. Additional car parking will be available in our nearby overflow car park. Please follow the yellow public parking signs if they are displayed.
Please allow additional time for parking to ensure you are not inconvenienced.
Long-term car parking is only a short distance from T1 (Terminal 1), approximately a 7-minute walk past the Vickers Vimy Memorial, and is also served by a free P Bus. See here for the P Bus timetable. See grounds map below or opposite for car park location.
Pay stations are available at the entry/exit area of the long-term car park, or parking fees may be paid at pay stations located in T1, with an appropriate grace period given.
See above for the pay rate schedule. All prices include GST. Terms and conditions are on display at car park entrance.
Lost tickets will incur a minimum fee of $30 and be charged at a rate of $30 per day.
Adelaide Airport's long-term car park of 1020 parking bays periodically experiences high demand and may reach capacity.
Please be aware that occasionally on Fridays and weekends and other periods of high demand, the long-term car park may be full. This is particularly the case when major events are occurring interstate (for example Adelaide-based football teams playing interstate).
If required additional public parking is available in our nearby overflow car park. Please follow the yellow public parking signs if they are displayed. Alternative transport options to the airport include taxis and bus services.
Pre-booking of car parking spaces is not available for either the short-term or long-term car parks.
Car parking stays are not limited, but for stays greater than 30 days, please email airport@aal.com.au or contact the car park office on (08) 8308 9380 (6.00am–6.00pm) and provide your vehicle details.
Disabled car parking bays are available in the short term car park directly opposite the main terminal entrance and adjacent the entry/exit area of the long term car park.
Car park information can be accessed 24 hours a day on (08) 8308 9379.
Car Parking Terms and Conditions can be found here.
A car park map can be found here.
For further help and assistance there are intercom buttons on each of the entry and exit units, as well as the pay stations. For any other car park matters please phone the car park office on (08) 8308 9380.
Motor cycles may only be parked in the short-term or long-term car park in a normal car park bay. Riders must comply with AAL terms and conditions and take a ticket on entry and pay on exit.
A bicycle rack is available adjacent to the main pedestrian crossing opposite the terminal. Bicycles left or locked in other areas may be impounded for safety or security reasons.
A taxi rank is located directly out the front of T1 on the ground level. Concierges provide a safe environment and allocate taxis to passengers.
There is a $2 levy added to fares for taxis leaving the airport.
Car rental desks are located on the ground level adjacent to the baggage claim area.
