Adelaide Airport Ltd has been made aware of a software issue with its ticketing system in the short term car park, which has resulted in a very small number of customers being charged more than once for a single stay.
Who has been affected?
The issue only applies to some customers who have parked in the short term car park between 2 days and 4 hours, and 2 days and 5 hours, with a transaction value of $88 since 25 October, 2012. No other customers are affected by this issue.
How many people have been affected?
Approximately 120 customers have been affected out of the 500,000 people who have used the car park over this period.
Have you refunded the over-charged amount?
Approximately half of the affected customers have already contacted us and been refunded the additional amount. Adelaide Airport Ltd is now in the process of refunding the remainder of those customers affected. Note that it may take a couple of days for the refunded amount to appear on your credit card statement.
