The Ambassador Program assists us in achieving this vision by providing exceptional customer service to passengers and visitors, by offering a welcoming environment and creating a positive first and last impression of Adelaide.

The Adelaide Airport Ambassador Program

The Ambassador Program is a key part of the overall customer service experience at Adelaide Airport and has been successfully operating for over 13 years. This volunteer Program operates 7 days a week between the hours of 5am-10pm (0500-2200hrs) daily. Volunteers to this Program commit to 2 four hour shifts per week for a period of 12 months.

The key role of our volunteer Ambassadors is to:

  • Welcome travellers, visitors and business partners to the main passenger Terminal of Adelaide Airport
  • Provide information about the Airport’s services & facilities to Customers
  • Provide assistance to Customers to ensure smooth facilitation through the Terminal

The Adelaide Airport International Ambassador Program

Commencing in November 2016, the International Ambassador Program is an exciting initiative of Adelaide Airport for Mandarin speaking volunteers. The volunteer Ambassadors provide assistance and information to Chinese and other passengers in the International Departures and Arrivals areas; through Security, Customs and Immigration processes and baggage collection. This volunteer Program operates 7 days a week and is based on the International flight schedules, with volunteers committing to 1 four hour shift per week for a period of 12 months.
