Adelaide Airport’s new multi-level short term car park is open from Monday 6th August.

Providing short-term parking for 1650 vehicles, it has direct undercover access to the terminal (T1) via the new link bridge on Level 2.

Thank you to all our customers for your patience and understanding during the construction of this important project.  We’re sure you’ll agree the new car park has been worth the wait.  And with the new pedestrian plaza under construction, there’s more to come.

Multi-Level Undercover

Undercover parking is available on levels 1 - 4.

  • Secure and convenient undercover parking.
  • Parking guidance system with electronic signage and lighting system to direct you quickly to vacant spaces.
  • Walking between the car park and the terminal is completely undercover.
    • Link bridge connects level 2 of the car park to the terminal on level 2 (departures level).
    • Two undercover walkways at ground level connecting the car park to the terminal.
    • No need to cross vehicle traffic between the car park and the terminal.
  • Height restrictions apply.  Maximum vehicle height = 2.2m.  Overheight vehicles may use the open air Staff/Overflow car park.

Easy payment options.

  • Bypass the pay machines and pay with your credit card at any vehicle exit as you drive out.
  • Pay with your credit card or cash on foot at the automatic pay machines.
    • Pay machines are located near the car park lift lobby on each level of the car park.
    • There are no car park pay machines located within the terminal (T1).

The only payment method accepted at the automated exits is credit card (Mastercard, Visa & Amex - No eftpos).

Parking for Persons with a Disability

  • A total of 24 dedicated car parks (6 on each level) for vehicles displaying a disability parking permit are located immediately adjacent to the lifts. Blue parking guidance lights signify the location of parking spaces.

Long Term

Economical longer term parking only a short distance from the terminal.

  • Great value for longer stays.
  • Approximately a 7 minute walk to the terminal.
  • Free buses run every 20 minutes commencing at 4.30am from the car park.

Easy payment options.

  • Bypass the pay machines and pay with your credit card at any vehicle exit as you drive out.
  • Pay with your credit card or cash on foot at the automatic pay machines.
    • Pay machines are located located near the entry/exit to the long term park.
    • There are no car park pay machines located within the terminal (T1).

There is no cashier at the Long Term car park exit.

The only payment accepted at automated exits is credit card (Mastercard, Visa & Amex - No eftpos).

Parking for Persons with a Disability

Priority parking is available adjacent the entry/exit area of the long term car park.

Long Term Parking Tips

  • Occasionally on Fridays and weekends and other periods of high demand, the long-term car park may be full. This is particularly the case when major events are occurring interstate (for example Adelaide-based football teams playing interstate).
  • Car parking stays are not limited, but for stays greater than 30 days, please email airport@aal.com.au or contact the car park office on (08) 8308 9380 (6.00am–6.00pm) and provide your vehicle details.

Motorcycles

Motor cycles may only be parked in the short-term or long-term car park in a normal car park bay. Riders must comply with AAL terms and conditions and take a ticket on entry and pay on exit.
