Your chance to WIN 1 of 3 double passes to see Macbeth, a Grand Opera by Giuseppe Verdi!* 

To be eligible to win 1 of 3 double passes to see Macbeth live in Adelaide on Thursday, 14 September 2023 at 7.30pm, valued at $145 (inc. GST) each, (Prize), the entrant (Entrant) must:

  • visit our Macbeth Instagram post (@adelaideairport) and
  • tell us in the comments, why you would love to WIN tickets to see MACBETH live in Adelaide (Promotion).

Entry is limited to those who ordinarily reside in Adelaide.

Employees of Adelaide Airport Limited and its subsidiaries (AAL) and employees of agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.

An Entrant may only enter once, for the chance to win the Prize.

This is a promotion of skill, where the three best responses will be judged by AAL (at its absolute discretion). The Prize will be announced to the winners by Adelaide Airport. The three winners (Winner) will be contacted via Instagram Direct on Friday 8th September, by 12pm ACST. The decision by AAL is final.

The prize will be emailed to each Winner or they can choose to collect it from Her Majesty’s Theatre (Theatre) (58 Grote Street, Adelaide, South Australia).

If the Winner does not provide their name and (if relevant) their email address to AAL by 12pm ACST on 13th September 2023, the Prize is forfeited. If the Winner elects to collect the Prize from the Theatre but does not collect it, the Prize is forfeited.

If the Winner does not use the Prize, it is forfeited.

AAL reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, employer and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant who AAL has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at AAL’s discretion. Failure by AAL to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. AAL’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

Incomplete or indecipherable entries by Entrants, as determined by AAL, will be deemed invalid.

Any cost associated with accessing the Internet in relation to this Promotion is the Entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia.  Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, AAL (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not it is under AAL’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by AAL) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of AAL; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Entrant; or (g) use of/taking the Prize.

The total prize package is valued at $840 (each ticket valued at $145 each inc. GST).

The Prize cannot be exchanged for goods or cash and is non-transferrable.

The Prize may not be sold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original recipient or any subsequent bearer. If the tickets (or any other aspect of the Prize) is sold or used in breach of this condition, it will be cancelled at Adelaide Airport’s sole discretion.

By entering the Promotion, Entrants acknowledge that they have read and understood, and agree to be bound by, these Terms and Conditions and the terms of Adelaide Airport’s Privacy Policy available at https://www.adelaideairport.com.au/privacy/

AAL will collect personal information from Entrants, including their name and META account handle, when they enter the Promotion. That personal information will be handled by AAL in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

The Winner’s name and if provided, email address, will be handled by AAL in accordance with its Privacy Policy. AAL will provide the Winner’s name and if provided, email address, to the State Opera South Australia for the purpose of sending the Winner the Prize or allowing the Winner to collect the Prize from the Theatre.
